Just the other day I was saying I haven’t seen very many historic images of Hampden in the MdHS collection. And here we are, with a glass negative by one of my favorite Baltimore photographers, John Dubas. Dubas was born in Vienna and made his way to Baltimore in 1904. He served as a photographer for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for more than three decades.

In other news, this Tumblr received the number five spot in Baltimore City Paper’s The Year In Intertubes! Thanks, CP!
